New to the Baltimore area, and just wanted to know my fellow Stovebolters from here. Now, in order of priority what are some good junkyards here, then swap meets, and shows? Maybe someone can catch me up to speed on the stovebolt scene down here, thanks!

Welcome to Maryland!

Junkyards ... well, welcome to the East Coast ... frown "good" junk yard has a different definition here than what you may be used to, but the others may be able to explain...

We have a lot of activity and a pretty active Stovebolt Group -- the ODSS. The next big event may be our Winter Classic -- the Junk Yard Tour, so you are in luck. After that is our annula wrenching weekend in April, the shows and swap meets follow after that.

The other will chime in, but in the meantime, welcome and we're glad to have you.

John

Thanks for the welcome, I have a 1940 chevy 3/4 ton special all original. And I would like to build a second 1940 truck with left over parts from my last restoration and Im currently looking for a 1940 cab & frame.
