Does anyone know if a 46 3100 carryall will bolt onto a 50 3100 carryall chassis, or are the frames different? What about the mounting brackets? Same location?

There are significant differences in the 1/2 ton 1946 frames and 1950 frames.

This GM/Chevrolet document describes the new [b]"ADVANCE-DESIGN CHEVROLET TRUCKS"[/b] SPECIFICATION DATA AND INFORMATION SHEETS. It describes differences in comparison to 1946 trucks.

The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
