Intake runner

I separated my manifolds today, cleaned them up and promptly found this!
Any way to repair this hole?

You probably can, but intake manifolds are easy to find, just replace it. There is a casting number on it, if you want to find the exact replacement.

Yep a bit ahead of its time.
The welding instructor at the school I teach at tried to repair it with no luck at all...Now the hole is Much bigger!

Shopping around for an intake/exhaust manifold as I type!
