It has a running 235, it seems to shift and want to move but it has no brakes and I don't have room to test it were it is now. It looks like it might have the two speed read because of the vacuum lines but I'd have to get numbers off it to find all the info.
I just bought it and I'm waiting to bring it home but to be honest I'm I little lost with something of this age and have a few questions. Any help would be appreciated. Also I'm trying to keep it mostly original but as a functional work truck.
Are they 6v and what would a 12v coversion require if so? Where would be recommended on the east coast to get vacuum and hydrolic parts remanded? What should I look for as far as known wear and tear specifically for these trucks?
Thanks. | | | | Joined: May 2013 Posts: 51 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2013 Posts: 51 | Let me start by saying welcome to the bolt. All the information you need on knowing your truck is on this website. Great bunch of people on here can answer any questions you may have, and using the "search" answers alot of questions too. As for your truck being 6v or 12v depends on what you wanna run check out the electrical section and tech tips. Congrats on the 47. Don't forget to add pics of your new beauty.
