Got no replies on "interior", maybe this is more for the body forum given it's metalwork? I don't know...

I'm looking to do something a bit different and want to either 1) completely modernize a custom dash that's almost entirely barren or 2) swap in a 1955/6 Belair dash. Has anyone tried the latter? How easily would this swap be, is it a bit of fitting/cutting/welding or are there gaps created that need high skill fabrication?

They will both require a fairly high degree of 'skill'. Your choice which to go with.

If you look through the link in my signature, it shows some pics in that thread of a 55 wagon dash, may give you some insight. If you need some measurements taken, let me know..
