For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 38 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 38 | Have a 1959 Apache 3100 with a 235/3speed combo. Looking to pick up a 235(?) from a 68 Chevy truck. Will it bolt right up? what mods/adaters do I need. Help!
Or as a second option, can anyone recommend a rebuild shop here in San Diego, CA? (619)

235s were used through 1962.
If you have a 1968 6 cylinder, it would be a 230, 50, or maybe a 292. None of those engines will "bolt right up".
