Everything went well with the exception of the gas guage. I've gone through the usual tests. I've got power to the guage, ohm reading across the guage terminals. Sending unit tests OK.

Sounds like it could be the connection between the sending unit and the gauge, since everything else is checking out. You could run a wire and see.
