I put in a 1956 car 235 and had to do the water pump mod. Also had to replace the pilot bushing for the transmission. The 56 car engine pilot bushing is different and won't fit the 49 trans input shaft. I re-used the 49 pilot by shaving a few thousandths off the outer diameter.

After you get to a certain point, John will have a chance to check it out.
We do hope to have more than just truck resto in that section. Right now, we are working out any bugs in the set up. So, starting in Engines will at least give you a start with some feedback and make it easy to move it to Projects when ready.
