traded for a 83 j10 jeep with a 59 chevy pickup body. right now besides some electrical issues, the clutch won't disengage. they used the jeep pedal and master cylinder assembly. and mounted it to high up on the fire wall, so they extended the pivot arm. so now theres almost no travel. after stairing at it for a couple hours, i decided to lower the whole thing down, thres plenty of room, and ill be able to get my knees out of my ears.

well i got the pedals down were they should be, but i still had to use the torch to make the pedal conform to the floor, that gave me the full travel i was looking for, got it dialed in pretty good. drove it for 1st time today, i discovered almost to late the brake pedal needs some torch work to. its only about an inch half. off the floor. imagine my surprise when the brake pedal hit the floor. good thing its a manual tranny.
