| | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 116 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 116 | I just started testing out my '54 3800 and it seems that when I put it in 3rd gear it goes in and then there's a loud "CLICK" and it seems to lose power or slows down but seems to stay in 3rd gear. What could this be?

| | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 | I would take a close look at the brake shoes. If one is not properly seated it might be "wedging" against the drum(loss of power). A bad or broken spring is all it would take.
