Can anyone tell me how do you replace the knob on the end of rod that controls the water flow to the heater on my truck? It seems to be a solid plastic that secures to the rod without any set screw.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine just pulled off. Be sure and hold the rod while pulling the knob off. Mine started slipping so I will put some glue of some kind on it. Some people don't really know how to turn a knob so it can start to slip if turned too much one way. Good luck. Steven

Very slightly heat the metal, being careful not to distort the plastic.
