| | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 | In wiggling my distributor while the engine is running I found there is a little play where the distributor sits at idle. When I rev the engine, the distributor does turn so l will assume the advance does work. Not sure if this wiggle at idle is common or not. I do have a new vacuum advance but am a little leary at pulling up the distributor, replacing the vacuum advance, and putting it back in. Solely because this is my transportation and I need it to run. And I've been fighting with the timing issue and heat issue for some time. Any encouragement and advice is welcome. Thank you
