anybody know if there are suppose to be pins or something sticking out of the hood that fit into the holes in the front and back?

hoozat, If you are talking about a separate pin for the hinge there isn't one. The "pin" is part of the hinge which sticks out past the sheet metal. This is what goes in the hold down at the rear and the front hood support.

mine must have broken off, kinda looks like it on the ends, wonder if theres any way to fix it?
