Is there a source that lists the stock interior colors for Advance Design trucks? I am currently working on a 1951 1/2 ton. I thought I read somewhere that it originally had a silver dashboard (I scraped off some paint, there is silver paint underneath), and I have been told two colors for the interior, one source told me it was a maroon color, another told me the inside was painted 'Champagne' from 1947 to 1953

The interior of the cab those years was "champagne". I am in the process of doing my cab interior now, and purchased some of chevy duty's interior cab paint, and I find it a lot darker than I expected "champagne" to be. But I think that 50+ years of sun has bleached any original cab paint I have seen, making the paint appear a lot lighter.
Cab interiors were not maroon, but the upholstery was maroon, along with the cardboard door panels. Maybe that is what they were talking about when they said maroon.

Brian just finished painting mine in "champagne" and yer right it is a lot darker than I expected.

So the dasboard isn't supposed to be silver? (I thought it would be kind of odd)
