Bed is now installed so it's time to hook up the brake & stop lights. Unfortunately I don't know where the connection is. Here's a pic of the harness, and I'm assuming I make my own connections at the rear with the bare ends of these wires. But there's a problem. I don't have any unused connectors for these two tail light harness to connect to. No empty connectors under the dash or in the engine compartment. I expected to find them, didn't, and turned here in hopes of figuring out what was going on.
I purchased a "complete wiring set" with an alternator conversion harness by American Autowire through Tuckers. The instructions weren't the best but I got it in and it all works, except for this one problem.
Thoughts, comments, or suggestions??

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | NOT under the dash and NOT under the hood .... under the floor, on the frame about below the driver seat .... look at the bottom of the page on that link, which shows frame .... note labels "existing wires", those are the ones you plug in there if the harness you got is as original, in the top pic the connectors on your wires are shown at far right - the provision is also there for proper hookup of turn signal wires, if you don't have that look at the pic as if those wires don't exist

Just crawled under there and found the two connectors right where they belong. I have no recollection of their being there, but like I said, I installed the harness months ago and life has been a bit crazy since then.
Tomorrow's task: rear lighting install.
