I am very quickly approaching the primer and paint stage on the cab of my 1937 chev. I am planning to use Dupont single stage, 2K Chroma Premier over Dupont 4001S or 4904S primer, both 2K. Did a search to see if this had previously been addressed and did not find it, forgive me if I missed it. Question: Is this a good system selection, and which of the primers should I use with this system? One person suggested first primer coat using 4001S followed by 2 to 3 coats of 4904S. Someone else said stay away from Dupont because Cal EPA has messed it up, instead use PPG. Now I am beginning to wonder if I am making the right choice. The local auto paint supply store sells both PPG and Dupont but push PPG. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Ralph
