I have not had any experience with Classic Chevrolet Truck Parts. However, I would strongly urge you to take a look at Mar-K Truck Beds. They make a real nice reproduction bed. If I remember correctly, they even have one of the very same stamps for the Chevrolet lettering on the tailgate, that GM used in one of their factories. At least the AD tailgates. They are located in Oklahoma City. It is American made steel. All of the spot welds appear to be the same as they were when our pickups were first made. I bought one from them. It goes together nicely. Fits well and looks like it belongs on our trucks. Just something to think about.
Good luck with your project and welcome to Stovebolt.
