My Blog | | | | | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 2,951 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 2,951 | Taking it apart for a good cleaning and lubrication is easy and the nylon pivot ball can be easily removed. Then heating and bending is worry free. I made a DIY thread showing the basics of taking one apart when I recently customized mine. To disassemble, clean and reassemble, all you need is a grinder and a welder. You'll want to add some grease after you clean the parts. See my shifter thread LINK HERE.
