Has anyone installed the Craftec tonneau cover on an AD truck? I spotted these on-line and am curious about how it mounts and the quality. Wondering if the bed has to be drilled to mount?

Hey there Fixit.

I have no experience with the Craftec item but I have been extremely happy with the Gaylord's Lids cover I put on my '53 pickup 2 years ago.

The cost is considerably more but well worth it in the long run. I have driven thousands of miles on road trips with it and it keeps my luggage secure and dry and in daily use keeps my fire turnout gear safely stowed and easy to get to.

Thanks for the link to Gaylord's Lids. Think this is out of my budget at this time. I will may consider for the future, but good info for everyone on the forum.

I would say that it will have some drilling, how would it stay fixed without. Worth considering I would think.
