On a 56,with a 235,the mounts that attach to the engine have a cut out on the top. Does the cut out part go toward the front,or rear of the engine? does it matter?I marked them when i took them off but lost the paper i marked them with.

Just went out and looked at my 55.2. The notch goes to the front. Looks like it has to be that way so it can clear the generator mount front bolt.
