Hi,

I have a neighbor who is cleaning out the barn. He found some parts off a '63 Chevy that he is willing to sell me to use on the '61.

Already tried the dash cluster and it is not the same. He says he has two good doors with no dings and a grille. Will either of these items fit? I know the grill design is a bit different, but I my truck has NO grille. So, I'm not picky. LOL

Thanks for any help/suggestions you can offer.

The doors should be the same. A nice 1963 grille is a good find. They are not reproduced in the aftermarket so if the condition is good enough to use and the price is fair, then get it. You can make it fit. It will bolt to the grille surround with 4 bolts each side so you might need to drill a few holes.

The dash cluster appears to be in good shape, and he said they have the windshield wiper motor. Evidently, they cut the truck into parts decades ago, and stored the best parts in the barn. The grandkids are now cleaning out the barn. :-)

I'll get a complete list when I have time to go down and look. Maybe post some pics. In the swap meet section, naturally. I'll let you guys know.

Well, none of the parts will work for a '61. And, the owner said he doesn't want to bother selling on-line. (The parts aren't taking up much room in the barn.)
