I have a 52 3100 and want to rewire. Trying to decide what harness to use. Opinions appreciated! Thanks, Denis

If you do not want an original appearance harness, and you will only need original circuits, the Classic Parts harness is hard to beat.

They have a generator and an alternator version.

It would help to know if you are planning a stock truck or one with stereo booster, A/C, power this and that.

They all use the same auto grade type wire. The wire is not an issue with any. The difference in price is number of circuits (which is what Cletis said), amount of extras (switches, sockets, terminals, connectors, flashers, relays, turn signal wiring, etc.,) and shipping and handling. You may choose one with a fuse box you like or whatever. They all are good enough for our trucks. Good instructions are a consideration also. Check the verbage on each to see what you get for the money and pull the trigger. American Auto wire is the high end but may offer more than you need. Several others are about the same. All can be had cheaper sometimes on Ebay and free ship.

I am leaning towards classic truck parts. Thanks for the input. I am trying to stay close to original but not exact.

Thanks Denis
