Been unable to find a decent condition original tailgate - so if I gotta buy aftermarket, do they all come from same manufacturer or are any better quality than another?? Thanks. Gig Kurt

I wish they made Fleetside bed sides, but I guess the market isn't big enough.

A brand new original tailgate is pock marked with spot welds. I wouldn't worry too much about anything but proper fit.
