I cleaned and primed up the plate then painted the background color myself. I brought it to a local guy that stripes and letters trucks,. He did a super job painting the white numbers. It took him about five minutes , he charged me 10 bucks for his efforts. Well worth it, the plate looks first class.

I bought a license plate on ebay to experiment with. But I was thinking about wet sanding the final coat down to the white lettering. Then shooting clear on top. He used a striping brush and some One Shot lettering paint and painted them by hand. What he did in five minutes would have taken me an hour and would not have looked nearly as nice..
