trans. enclosed driveline, not sure what rear-end. What I need help with is in order to swap engines can anyone tell be what other items have to be changed?
bell housing, driveline, rear-end. Is this a straight swap or not??? Can you buy adaptors to make it all tie-up.

If so, why would you change and go down when all you should need to do is change the gearing in the rearend.

Chris I think he has a 235 to go IN the truck from the Biscayne. But you're right... the problem is likely the rear end gearing.

You still won't be able to go over 50 MPH.
You will need to spend some significant money to change the 4.11 gears for 3.55 gears.
You could replace the entire rear end for a more modern one with lower ratio gears.
1952 5-window - return to "as built" condition | 1950 3100 with a 235 and a T-5 transmission
