The engine is the exact same as used in the cars with the exception of having different bolt on items. The block you are looking for is cast number 836010 and the Head is cast number 837981. The 1936 motor is a carry over from the 1935 motor and the last year for the 206. Most of the internal engine parts are shared between the 35's and 36's with the exception of the Oil Pump, Water Pump and Distributer. Thank you for all the information. How fast would a stock 1936 truck go with that engine?
My only experience is with a 216 and 235. I can get those up to about 60-70 mph in my stock vehicles. I just want to know what to expect from a 207 motor??

The 206 makes 80 HP at about 3200 rpm and has a max rpm of about 3700. The 1936 cars run nice at about 50 mph and can be pushed to 60 for passing...trucks will be slower. Mike B | | |
