Everything was working perfect until a generator went bad. Replaced the gen and polarized it before starting the engine. I am getting six volts at the battery and at the regulator. If I take a volt meter and ground it and touch the gen I get nothing. Take the same volt meter and ground it and touch the lead at the regulator I get six volts. Wiring new, grounds good, replaced all fuses but I cannot get a reading at the gen. Are the leads/posts/connectors on the voltage regulator labelled (what are the labels)?
What line/lead is connected to each connector on the voltage regulator? | | |
