Some have thin grill moulding tops (the part that says chevrolet) and some are thicker.
I picked up a new grill cowl for my 39 GMC but I think its a 40 chevrolet, didnt know they were different when I picked it up. To make matters worse my truck is actually a GMC so I cant compare the old with the new. But I do know hat the grill top from my 39 gmc does not fit the 40 chev cowl. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,096 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,096 | Hi stea , on your other post , you asked about Chev parts. I cannot help with GMC . We got none of those prewar civilian models here, though I sure would love to see one. | | |
