Hello ,
Would anyone have a picture / drawing of the rear bumper area of a one ton panel [ mine is a 53]

I am looking to see the correlation between the bumper and splash guard/ filler . Are they even at the top with the rubber filling the gap between the two ? If so what is the spacing ?

HERE I have the rear bumper secured with the 2 front bolts and up on jack stands before I cut the lower filler panel HERE so the bumper brackets can move up

Any advise as to how it is supposed to look is appreciated . The best pictures I could take ...
Thanks
Dan

I'd be glad to take a pic of my 50-51 one ton but mine does not have a splash guard/filler.
Let me know

I would make sure that you actually have the 1 ton panel van rear bumper brackets on your truck before I started hacking on anything.

The 1 ton panel van rear bumper brackets are specific to those models only.

You will never get everything to line up properly without the correct brackets.

{No other brackets from any 47-55.1 truck will work on the 1 ton panels}.
