Heya folks... all of these images are from the Gallery here at the 'Bolt...

What are these type mirrors called? I have seen them on trucks in person, and in lots of pictures. I never seem to see them in the parts vendors catalogs though... they have the original round mirror, the larger rounde mirror and the rectangle looking mirror - but not these type. I am just curious if this was some kind of option or what? plus, what are these mirrors called? I just think they look good and make it more of a 'truck'. smile They seem to come in either a painted version or the polished metal look...

Were they only on the K(4x4's) models? Or 3/4 ton and up? A lot of the pics I see with these type mirrors on trucks seem to be on those.

Thanks

-W

Hey Woog, Those are the same mirrors that came on my '66 C10 longbed from the factory. According to the, "Chevrolet Automobile Sales Order", in the glove box of my truck, they are listed as, Jr. West Coast Mirrors, on the list of my trucks accessories. On the, "Service Parts Identification" decal on the back of the glove box lid, they are listed as, RV Jr. Mirrors RH & LH, Option No. D29BA.

Woogeroo,

Here are a few examples. Stainlees would be nice, if the mirrot heads AND mounting bars are stainless (my non-stainless bars rusted quickly). Also, some prices are for a single assembly, not a pair. These mirrors are great.

Dyers - stainless ??

J C Whitney - chrome

Vision View - stainless ??
