The instructions say "IGN" but I crawled underneath and couldn't find markings. I traced the wires to radio, the other post had the heater switch attached to it and the other went to the firewall.
Also, what's the light for?

Pull switch from dash and let hang to see and wire it. Check the Tip Section here on Stovebolt, here is one: http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/12_volt_conversion.htmlIf you are unsure about switch, take it to bench and do a continuity test to see OFF ON (ACC.), IGN is "ON" position with a foot start.

I crawled in between the seat and the pedals and pulled the ignition out and couldn't locate any initials near the prongs.

If there are no terminal markings on back of switch, then just test the switch with a light or meter to see how it works. It is basically sending hot to coil when key is rotated CW. The original hook up: red wire from voltage reg (batt) to one Ignition switch terminal. The other terminal was wired to coil + and to gas gauge. Don't know what all you have done or what components you have. I think you may be running into, the dreaded, PO wiring.

I will use my test light and figure out which terminal only lights when the key is on and hook it up to that one.
