With the door as far aft on the hinge plates as it will go the front edge of the door still hits the fender as it's closing.
If I read it correctly the service manual says all adjustments fore/aft should be done this way, but I can't get sufficient travel. Is the next step to shim the hinge were it attaches to the pillar? Or am I missing something?

They also have in and out .The door may be too close to the jam. What area is hitting? On mine the closest rub point is the lower 6" of the door. Think its a weak hindge. When the door is closed there is about a 3/16 in gap top to bottom. And door and fender are flush. If this helps | | | | | Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 319 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 319 | The door overlaps the fender from the window to the bottom. Forcing it to a fully closed position would damage the fender's trailing edge. But your point is well taken. I'm going to try adjusting the hinges more.
