ADDED SAFETY and TURN SIGNAL to BOOT

using a 1'' piece of schedule 40 PVC cut about 2'' long,
a twin pak of LED 4 dash lights found at any good FLAPS, about 18bucks
a socket for above light
some RTV
a hot glue gun
some 20 gage 2 conductor wire about 3-4' long
a side maker light red lens,
some small heat shrink to cover the wire as it goes down the bed stake pocket.

Carefully cut the red [or amber] lens in half. careful sand [i used a dics sander] the two circles round to the diameter of the PVC. hot glue lens onto PVC.

Now, solder the wire to the light socket tabs, plug in the LED light and hot glue the lamp to meet the lens and centered inside the PVC and leave /allow air to enter the LED. To make the PVC fit the inside of the bed roll tube add 3 lines of RTV and build up what is needed to have a snug fit.

lead the wire down the bed pocket and connect ''correct polarity'' the wires to your left and right turn signals.

Now you have added more safety while tooling around town.

Did mine that way about 9 months ago, used pvc step down fitting, machined to fit bed roll, then drill out the center fitting hole to 3/4 inch for the LED lights,installed the light now I have brake and turn signal in the bed roll, looks great and works great. 53 3100 root
