| | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 | I recently installed, using a Clifford open 4 bbl manifold and adapter, a new(not rebuilt)2G on a modified 261. I want to adjust the feeds using vacuum. Admittedly, I am not up to date on a 2G. Where do I pull the vacuum on it. There are 3 nipples on it. Manual choke. Any help or a lead to help would be appreciated.

| | | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 | Usually the dist vacuum advance is taken below the closed throttle plate. This way theres no vacuum advance provided at idle.
As the throttle plate begins to open vacuum is then produced to advance the timing to a point where the mechanical advance takes over.
