What wire and gas would you you use on a mig welder to french in your stainless hedlight rings to your steel fenders ?would regular steel wire and 75/25 argon work ? Thanks

use stainless wire. when welding two different materials together always go with the higher grade as the filler.In this case the stainless being the higher. something in the 300 series should be good. normally 308 is a good choice.as far as the gas I would think that your 75/25 should be ok.Good luck
