After sending pictures and e mails, they (American Autowire) decided I have 62 wiring in my 63. I have a 63 manual and schematics but need a 62 wiring schematic. Specifically under dash to engine compartment. Can anybody help me out? It does not matter if your truck had "62" wiring, old trucks are easy to wire. It's all more or less the same.

Possibily an early 63 using leftover 62 parts. All the same componants, all the same wires. It seems that some of the connecting plugs were changed. The main one is the colume mounted blinker switch (lwr) a 62 has a 6 pin triangle shaped connector, the 63 has a 8 pin cresent shaped connector. (Different plug configurations). My 63 has a 6 pin triangle plug. What does your 63 have for a blinker connection? There are a couple more examples like dash cluster harness,dimmer switch, temp sending unit,etc. Nothing major, and yes I could rewire it to work. But that's not what I paid for. I do not need a schematic to do this job. I would like one to compare a 62 to a 63, there are differences, minor, but different. Thanks for your help. I also have a 1960 and a 1963 manual. The 63 manual indicates a 7 pin crescent. I could not find a 62 schematic anywhere. My 1960 GMC manual shows a 6 pin Turn sig connector. looks like the horn wire may be the 7th wire, not run thru the 1960-62 turn sig.
