The two lower bolts on the steering knuckle that attach the steering arms to the knuckle has the passenger side rear bolt and the driver side front bolt stuck in the steering arm.
Nuts all came off easy the other bolt on each side pulled out with minimal effort. But penetrate, heat, some light beating yields nothing.
Those out there who have removed these before are they press fit? If so why just one one each side.
If they are press fit how did you get them to budge, my range of pullers can not seem to find enough to grab onto to press them out.
Shop manuals do not show any special puller, I may have to make one as a last resort.

I would use some more heat. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,282 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,282 | Focus the heat on the knuckle and not the bolt. Once heated, quench it with penetrating spray like PB Blaster until it stops burning off. This will cause the parts to move away from each other and encourage the penetrating oil to get sucked into the spaced between them. If that doesn't work right away, leave it until the next day and try it again. It will work. It has to. Carl

Left the nut on the end of the bolt to reduce the amount the hammer bounces around. BUT, you can't hammer much and have to be careful, it's really easy to ruin the threads on both the bolt and nut. Once the hammer moved it, I drove it out with a soft face dead blow hammer.
