Hey Guys,
I have a 56 dodge 1/2 ton panel in great condition. Was originally a military vehicle.
I wanted to ask what would be the best truck to go with as far as just taking the body of the panel and putting on another frame. Everything on the panel is there except the motor and transmission.
I haven't taken any measurements on the wheel base or frame width yet.
Have been busy ...not lazy LOL
If anyone has some ideas that would be great
Thanks

Since this post does not have anything to do with a Chev/GMC perhaps it belongs in the "Greasy Spoon" forum. Search the site for "Frame Swap" and you will find hundreds of possibilities.

Manley, I had not thought of that. Using the word Dodge in your search may just crash the site. LOL. Hope you find what your looking for.

Manley go over on Facebook & look up and talk to PurpleMonkey Kustoms. He's doing a similar truck & doing a frame swap but using all Mopar parts. I believe he's using a Durango frame w/a Hemi, BUT that being said, it may also fit on an S10 frame also...joe
