The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop 1954 Chevy 3100 front end question

Hi all, Newbie to the forum here. I did some searching to see if this question has been asked before, and saw a lot of how to's, but not many how to "undo" :o)
OK, I just purchased my '54 Chevy 5 window 3100 a few days ago. The person who had the truck prior to the guy I bought it off of dropped in a Camaro front clip and pretty much turned it into a low rider. I'm not a fan of its current stance (no offense to all the low riders out there). I like the IFS set up, just not the height. Is there a relatively inexpensive way to increase the ride height back up to "normal"? Beefier springs? Any thoughts, comments, ideas? Thanks, John

You will need to figure out how it was lowered to solve how to fix.
Was it simply lowered spindles or more in depth effort on coils and towers.
Take a look at lowering kits to see what they consist of and get the specs of those vs stock then start replacing.
Most likely as I stated you will need standard spindles first.
