Driveshaft first perfectly, no alterations needed.

It sounds like the one from the shortbed truck might be the HD 3 speed option, which is a Borg-Warner T-85.

I do know the 59 is 22 inches in total length with a 15 inch tail and the 58 is 18 about 18 inches total with 1bout an 11 inch tail. | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Without seeing the other transmission, it seems that is probably is the HD. The SM318 standard 3 speed is 22 inches long, as is the SM319 overdrive.
