on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 182 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 182 | We got the repop lower radiator hose that all the big parts suppliers are selling and it just looks like the metal elbow is exhaust tubing bent on an exhaust pipe bender. Is this the way they were done originally because it doesn't line up very well with the water pump inlet? Also the bend is so big and collapses the tubing such that you only end up with small sections of perfectly round tubing on which to put the original style clamps included in the kit. Then there's the problem of the water pump inlet being bigger than diameter then the tubing which is 1 1/2". It's almost impossible to get this all to seal up with the original style clamps. Seems like GM would have used a better formed elbow than this. Does anyone offer a better original style set-up than this? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,321 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,321 | Do not know what you have tried but check this out> Lower Hose Harold
