The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The Electrical Bay 6 volt heater motor

So I picked up a Harrison 47 heater for my 47 3600 ad. I knew it was missing a wire coming out of the motor, but it was cheap. Anybody got a schematic or photos of the insides of one? Hard to tell where I should solder at.....thanks. Marko

I think my motor has one wire coming out and the other connection is through the case.

This is the original Deluxe that was installed in the truck
when it was delivered in '50, according to the original owner.
Back about 6 or 7 years ago I turned the commutator and
installed new brushes in the original motor. as you can
see, the original motor had a ground wire also and was
not simply grounded thru the case.

There are also some pictures of the internals Marko, look
thru them and maybe you can figure out where your wires
are missing.
