Since my '59 didn't have one when I got it I don't have anything to compare it to. The guy sent me these pics. Does it look like the right one? If I can fight my way through the jungle of weeds and check it out, I might be able to send you a reference pic. The one you show would be a single-speed unit, no way to select high or low speed. 2 or 3 speed wipers would need more connection terminals and more wires. How many wire terminals are on the wiper motor connector? I can't tell how many this one in the photos has b/c it looks like that may be a terminal in the center. Check out this YouTube video. It's the same as my motor, but the shots of the switch are hard to make out. '58-'59 elec. wiper If you've got a two-speed switch (that's what my motor is) and are willing to part with it let me know!! A VW guy trying his hand at a '59 LB fs. Lots to learn, but it's about the journey.
