I know all the vendors sell them. I would like some feedback on them before I lay out my hard earned money. The price goes from around $30 to $47. Is there a difference? Steve

You need to indicate which vendors you are talking about. No one can recommend a part from an unknown vendor.

Carl, JC is the least expensive and Chevs of the 40"s is the most. Lmc and classic parts of America fall some where between. Steve

The cheapest and best would be to find a donor cab and cut the corners out of the roof. The top is the same contour as the lower cab corners.

My original question was is there a difference? If not then JC would seem the likely choice

Hey 53

I just read about this very thing today on another forum. From what I gather, the best quality based on the photo in the thread is from a company called Tabco. Unfortunately they do not handle our older trucks. The second best is Tri-Plus which is carried by Classic Parts. If you'll see the first cab corner he has in the photo, it is awful. I guess there is a difference. I was always under the impression that the same place made them and we all choose where to purchase based on what our favorite place to buy from is. Anyway, hopefully this helps you decide if you want to do the JC thing or not.
