Has anyone here had any luck finding aftermarket replacements for these? I've seen a few on Ebay but they appeared to be bent & rusted trash.

Found them in high dollar stainless for '37-'38 trucks but they don't know whether they will fit war years trucks or not. Nothing else I have found online so far.

Exactly Harold...but minus the "issues" that one has. The threaded ends are mangled and rusted away. I've seen a few on Ebay but most were in similar condition and was hoping beyond hope that someone was making new repros.

That brace would be easy to reproduce yourself if you have the old one for a pattern. You could cut the threaded ends off and weld new threads on fairly easy.

That, or cut new threads on some fresh rod stock. I agree, it seems doable to make one. The flat center would be the toughest to duplicate but if you have that much weld some new rods on and thread them.
