I need a set of piston rings for a .020 over 302 GMC. Does anyone know where I can purchase a set?

One place to try www.patricksantiquecars.com

I found this place on inliners.org, one of their advertisers. www.ariaspistons.com

With a 4" bore I would think that some of the online "speed" shops would have 4.020 ring sets. Take a look at Jegs or Summit for example. They might not be specifically spec'd out as 302 GMC but you're just looking for the particular dimensions for your pistons. i.e. 4.020, ring thickness, moly, cast iron, etc.

Ford, Chevy, MOPAR and a few other manufacturers all used 4" diameter pistons over a span of several decades. As long as the rings are the right thickness to fit the piston grooves, those rings won't care what brand of engine they're running in. Don't let somebody sell you some sort of outrageously priced rings when it should be possible to find over-the-counter items that will fit. Even if you buy a set of rings for a V8, it will probably cost less to discard a few rings than pay a king's ransom for a custom made ring set.
