HELP!!
Can anyone tell me where I can buy two mounting nuts for my 1955.2 original AM radio (model number 987187)?
I have one original nut and it is 5/8" across the flats. Has 28 threads per inch but the hole size is less than 1/2". Actually, it's closer to 12 mm.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi sepp,
do you need one or two? They come in thick and thin versions. I can probably scrounge up a couple from my parts collection, which I can send to you.

Sam,
thank you very much, you are very generous. Our Canadian dollar is down to about .80 US so you really gave me quite the bonus! I hope the nuts work out but of course you will let me know when they arrive.

Fred

Fred,
Nuts arrived this morning @ 9 am, 27 April.
That's very fast mail service.
I'm more used to ten days (min.) from my family in California.
Of course, they fit.............
Thanks again.
All the best to you.
Sam
