Laroke as always a great read spiced with humour, sound advice and Im sure you inspire a few folks to tackle jobs they might farm out. Know what you mean about dissappearing tools that re-appear. Now where did I put my beer?

There is a band down here called Machine Gun Fellacio. They have a song "The girl of my dreams gives me nightmares". Dont fret it Ive had a few beautiful ones and my friends couldnt understand when Id cut them loose but they didnt have to live with them. That girl could be just like that.

Thanks again for the update, pretty soon billybob will be brand new, you'll have enough parts to build another truck and every tool to do it.

Tony, I'm getting old. I write things down so I can remember what I did and don't have to "reinvent the wheel"bearing procedure all over again each time.

Panhead, I got your beer (or wish I did). You're right about the tools. I'll probably rebuild the Jeep after BillyBob is finished.

Actually, over the years there's been three girls that filled my dreams. They all went by three names like serial killers and I hope that isn't indicative of anything. They were all also beyond my reach so,

Like the car chasing dog who never catches up with the shiny object of the chase, I have not experienced the real pain of bitting a hubcap and having my illusions shattered.

They say three times the charm...but I guess that's not the case for you, Larry! I've been in love twice in my life...the first time was stronger(I occasionally still have unsettling dreams) but the second time's the one for me. Getting dumped on is certainly no fun-you're right about catching the shiny object. Still, the right girl might be just around the corner-it won't hurt to stay optimistic. Keep up the good work with BillyBob. Your build site is my hands-down favourite-I think it's a combination of the information you present combined with your personality that does it. Keep on Truckin', pal.

I love it. It's fun, funny, and more than anything, all of us can relate to it.

While many here will talk a good game, the reality is that we all are flying by the seat of our pants. It's nice to see someone who has the stones to put up the mistakes and the triumphs at the same time.

Not to mention the humor part.

This will be a good book when it's done...done?...is it ever done??

Great job Larry. I was a fan of your site even before I knew about The Stovebolt Page. Actually, you are the one that inspired me to go out and find the C10 that I am currently working on. If I ever get finished with it, maybe I can talk the wife into letting me get another one to restore. I don't think it will too tough to do, she is very excited about the resto. on the C10 and wishes I would hurry up and get it done. She wants to go cruisin' in it when it is finished.
