Before I take everything apart I thought I would ask for ideas. I have installed them with the flat side down and round side up. If I cock them a little I can make the lever fit but it is a little tight. Also they only have one switch lever on each motor. I guess the speed control was taken off when they were restored. I was told they were poor design and always leak. Should I stick with these and cover the extra holes or look for different motors? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 1,611 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 1,611 | Your truck originally had two knobs per motor, and the L&R motors are different part numbers. If you have good original motor covers, I would be apprehensive to alter them as they are hard to find.
Sounds like your project is coming together. | | |
