Ok this thread got me thinking
https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthread...re+tire+lock&Search=true#Post1096308

The spare tire lock is really hard to find and valuable. What other parts are along this same order?

I was told the heat control valve is one of those items that would fall in to this thread. A guy at good guy's swears there are none to be had anywhere, true?

BTW: If true I have one that will be going on eBay soon:)

1939-40 Crankhole covers. I lost my original one 2 years ago going down the road. Luckily I had a spare. I wired that one from behind so it can't come loose. A spare tire lock came with my 39 but I'm not sure if it is the correct one. It still had the key in it.

No where in post did it say that. My email address is no where to be found in any public message.

I really did wonder what the switch look likes and if that is what I have. I started this thread because I thought it would be interesting but you might as well delete the whole thread as the free exchange of ideas is clearly not allowed.

55-62 exhaust manifolds that aren't cracked or broken in some way.
848 Heads that aren't cracked or bad.
Spotlight with original GM badging.
The actual underbed spare tire carrier.
Heater Control Valve that is at least rebuildable.
Air Cleaner that is not Oil Bath (stock)
1950 style Heater Switch that isn't showing excessive wear.
Borg R10 Overdrive Units
Overdrive kickdown switch (Chevy Style at the Carb)

I expect to see these things in my post office box in the morning. Thanks!
